| A virus hoax usually comes in an email message, usually from a friend or business associate. The message speaks of doom to your computer and applications unless you find and remove a particular file or group of files from your hard drive.
DON'T DO IT!!! At least, don't do anything in a panic until you check out whether your message regards a real virus threat or a hoax. Check out the top hoaxes below.
